Panthers to Face Lightning in Round One

The Florida Panthers have announced their 2024 Stanley Cup Playoff schedule for Round One against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The series will begin on April 19th in Sunrise, Florida.

The Panthers are coming off a 5-2 victory over the Boston Bruins in the first round of the playoffs. Carter Verhaeghe led the way for the Panthers with two goals, while Aleksander Barkov and Sam Bennett each added a goal and an assist.

The Lightning are the defending Stanley Cup champions and will be a tough test for the Panthers. However, the Panthers are confident that they can win the series and advance to the second round.

"We're excited for the challenge," said Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov. "We know the Lightning are a great team, but we believe in ourselves. We're going to go out there and play our game, and we're confident that we can win."
